Presented by Afrobeats icon Davido, the win highlights Odumodublvck’s meteoric rise in the competitive Nigerian music scene.

Reflecting on his journey, Odumodublvck shared an emotional moment with the audience, revealing the challenges he's faced.

“Against all odds, I’ve pushed through barriers. A couple of years ago, there were so many things we couldn’t express in our music. The world tried to shut us down, ‘you can’t be this,’ ‘you can’t speak like that,’ ‘you can’t release music this way.’ But my standing here today is proof that those things are just fallacies.”

He credited his success to his unwavering faith, declaring, “None of this would have been possible without my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. He has been with me through thick and thin. Tonight, God has shown that He reigns.”

This victory follows Odumodublvck’s recognition as Rookie of the Year at the 16th Headies in 2023, where he was awarded a ₦55 million, solar-powered two-bedroom home in Lagos. These accolades underscore Odumodublvck’s relentless drive and commitment to overcoming obstacles, proving that no amount of doubt or adversity can stifle his potential.
